About Liz.
Hi there!
I’m Liz (she/her). I am a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, working with adults across the lifespan.
I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions in Missouri. I'm a therapist who shows up as a real person. I offer a space where you can feel grounded, heard, and supported—without pressure to be anyone but yourself. I help people work through anxiety, trauma, disordered eating, substance use, and life transitions. I bring a warm, compassionate presence, but I’m also not afraid to be direct when it’s needed.
My approach is relational and grounded in curiosity, trust, and collaboration. I draw from Relational Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR, depending on what feels right to you, to help you explore your inner world, process past experiences, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Therapy with me is a space to feel seen, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways—always at your pace.
More about the person in the chair:
Much like inside the therapy space, I can be found juggling three beverages outside of sessions, one of which is bound to be coffee. I enjoy music and concerts, all things horror-related, traveling, reading at home with my dog and cat, getting tattoos, and moving my body in ways that feel empowering.
I chose to become a therapist because I deeply value relationships, including the one we have with ourselves. I hope to collaboratively build our therapeutic relationship in a way that gives you a template and example for the relationships you have, both with yourself and with those around you.
